Has anybody else experienced delays in the gear catching when switching from Park to Drive or from Park to Reverse? It happens to me sporadically! Doesn't seem right for any vehicle let alone a brand-new vehicle. Just curious if anybody has any insight or possibly experiences the same thing. When it does engage after a few seconds it normally lurches forward or reverse pretty harshly.
Reminds me of the issue reported in this thread. Sorry, I don't know if there was much help there. The OP did say it didn't do it when shifting through neutral first.
I just posted about same issue didnt see yours. Mine is going from park to drive or park to reverse, one guy responded asking if it sounded like a mechanical clunk and thats exactly how mine sounds
