Ok so I’ve wired up pretty much everything on my truck beside the ignition. To me the wires off the new fuse box I got are confusing and I don’t know if I really need most of them.I have a 4 post ignition switch, digital ignition box. need to figure out where these wires go or what plugs into the clear plug.any info would be great.
l Light pink- IGN SW COIL comes from fuse box Red- IGN SW PWR comes from fuse box Orange- IGN SW ACC comes from fuse box Brown-not labeled comes from fuse box Purple-IGN SW START comes off plug
This is how i think I’ll be running my ignition switch.do I just run wires from fuse panel to the switch in addition to the wires Iam running directly from the starter/batt/coil?
The plugs are for a GM or GM compatible steering column. They can be replaced with whatever kind of connectors you need for your switch.
The brown wire is for the Chrysler ignition switch. It was marked "IGNITION" in the EZWire harness. I connected it to the "Coil" post, as directed in my literature, but I'm not sure where it comes out on the other end.
Here is a diagram combining the wire colors and the switch layout:

If you are using these wires, and the wires in the engine bundle under the hood, you shouldn't need additional wires running direct. The pink "coil", red "power", and purple "start" wires under the hood would be the other end of these wires. With electronic/digital ignition, the pink "coil" wire would run to the digital ignition box, not to the actual coil.

Thanks for all this info you’ve provided.iam running the Holley sniper efi conversion with the hyper spark ignition kit.everything pretty much plugs into each other on that stuff I just didn’t know if I actually need those ignition wires from the new harness.i would assume I would need the ACC wire hooked from fuse panel to key but didn’t know if I needed the other wires.
When using the Hyperspark system, everything in the Gearhead harness stays the same except the "Coil Positive" (pink) wire. It goes to the red "Switched Ignition" wire, indicated in the red box below. This tells the ignition and injection systems to activate when you turn on the key.
You still need the "Coil" (pink), "Battery" (red), "Start" (purple), and "Accessories" (orange) at the ignition switch. You don't need the brown wire.
Which spot on the ignition key would be a switched 12v that’s on during cranking also? Does the red wire from Holley kit just connect to pink wire and that’s it? Or do I red the red/pink wire to a switched 12v?

The "Coil" side of the ignition switch is hot when cranking. (pink wire) So , yes. The pink wire to the Holley red wire under the hood, and pink to "coil" on the switch.
The "accessories" (which I noticed I misspelled acceseries in my drawing) cuts out during cranking on most ignition switches, so most of the battery's power is available to the starter.
