40/20/40 seats from crew cab to super cab??? what am i missing

I have a 96 supercab with this bench

would like to put these seats in it from a crew cab, but still have access to the back for passangers

with this sliding floorpan from a crew cab is this all I need to gain access to the back of my supercab? (doner is a 4 door 96 crew cab) I have spent 2hrs. on this forum reading seat swap article after article no definitive answer... thanks in advance!!!

Seat pans from a crew cab will only bolt in another crew cab or regular cab regardless of front or rear position. They will not work in a super cab without modification. Seat pans and the floor boards in a super cab are completely different. Do another search it has been covered many times before.

ok thanks, so basically if you have a supercab, you are limited pretty much to other super cabs to go from bench to buckets? seems hard to believe???

SuperCab or Bronco seats will bolt right in.

The 40/20/40 from a crew cab/regular cab a DIRECT bolt in for your split back bench out of your supercab.

NOW, to the problem. The crewcab/regular cab seats do NOT slide far enough forward to access the rear of the supercab.

The supercab brackets have 2 sliders. One for seat adjustment, and one for fully sliding forward to access the rear

Its a shame you are not closer, I could trade you some supercab brackets

If you have the solid bottom bench super cab, don't you have to drill the holes in the floor to attach the inner tracks and the middle seat or console?

All 3 seats are mounted on a subframe - OPs third picture shows the frame. That’s the only thing I dislike about em, there’s no junk room under the seats.

Yeah, my '92 super cab has the solid bottom, split back seat, and the tracks are bolted directly to the floor. There's no sub frame under my seat.

I sorta wish they’d made a 3 piece back on a bench instead of the split, you’d gain the underneath room back and all you’d lose from the normal 40/20/40 is the independent slide. But, that part is nice - the tall one in the back can ride behind the passenger and my knees aren’t in the steering wheel

Dont quote me but I am almost positive the holes are there and so are the bosses, but they are not threaded for the 4 inner holes
