i have a 2003 f250 superduty and recently while pulling a load of hey it went limp wouldnt pull . felt as if transmission was stuck in 3rd gear light flashes on tow haul and jerks when you shift. made it home and turn of truck no when you turn key it goes thru the cycles but wont spin over .got 3 codes a p0528,p0603,p1000 no engine light . i can jump out the selonoid and engine spins over and will crank like this if key is own . any ideas what may be my problem?
What are you reading codes with? Seems like minimum you should see P0700 for the transmission since the T/H light was flashing, and since none of the other three you posted are related to the transmission I don't think you're getting everything.
P0528, you might have munched the fan clutch wires, no telling what that shorting out could do. You're going to have to look through the fan to see the wires in the second picture, to get to the view in the picture you have to drain off your coolant and remove the fan shroud.
