Hello, recently I bought a sct x4 tuner for my truck. It was used but unmarried. I updated it and from the beginning it's given me problems. I was a little too excited to have the x4 so I went to put one of the canned tunes on my truck and kept getting errors about bad communication with the truck. I called sct and they said the tuner don't work under 12 volts of battery. Eventually I got it to work and got my truck tuned. I've been running the canned tune for a couple of weeks now and I'm ready to buy a custom tune. I'm looking at buying Looney from quick tricks and they need some codes on the truck without a tune. I went to put my truck back to stock but it just keeps beeping at saying I need to turn my key to the on position even though I already have. I called act and they told me again that I don't have the 12 volts of power that I need. With the key off the tuner would read around 12 volts but with the key in the on position not running it drops to around 11 volts. Sct can't really help me in this spot i think at least but does battery volts not being high enough sound like the problem and how can I fix my volts being so low? Bad batteries or something. I'm not too sure where to go from here, any help would be great!
Disconnect and remove the batteries.
Charge them individually.
Take them to a battery shop or even an automotive store and have them individually load tested.
Replace any/all bad batteries

I used this 3 times and every time has been a issue sct told me to use a battery charger to keep the volts up . Witch is stupid. I am trying the go back to stock and this crappy sct programmer is not working even when I have my battery charger on it.. it has been downloading for over 45mins and is at 18 of 19 updates and 49% and not going any further. I have had other programmer and never had to put a charger on it. This is really the stupidest sh** I have seen for a programmer to get more proformance enhancer equipment I ever seen. I would never buy sct again.
