Chrome pelling and on hooks
Got the truck in jan now I just seen this. This normal ?

that does not look normal to me I would take a trip to the dealership and see what they say worth a shot

Ugh - that's horrible and shouldn't happen so soon. Dealer should replace under warranty.

I wonder if they make these things out of alternative materials/coatings that won't rust/tarnish.

Part of the reason I did not want the Chrome Pkg...
When mine start peeling, I’ll just powder coat them
black.

My 2010 did the same thing. They were replaced under warranty and never had another problem with them.
