Driving home from vacation today and the check coolant additive message came up on screen. While away it came up around 14k miles. I pressed the OK button but it repeated every fill-up on way home.
Any relevant info before I talk to dealer would be appreciated. I have the 8 year, 125k extended warranty. Thank you all.
It's normal. Thats the prompt to test the coolant, but in reality, if nothing has been done to it, nothing in added, none lost, I'd just reset it. To do that, go into settings, and under maintenance, is an option to reset coolant life. I used to test mine every time. I quit doing that. Your choice to test or not.
It's a normal pop up to remind you to check the coolant additive. Check it with the test strips the dealer sells and reset the reminder. Or just reset the reminder like most everyone else does...LOL
