Gotta 05 XL with 5.4. Bought parts off 06 XLT ,wheel and clockspring to add cruise. Did the swap. Horn works, no SRS light on. Turn on headlights, all switches illuminate. Got to local Ford dealer to get cruise turned on. Tech said cruise is enabled, but some fault is keeping it from working. I go home and test tell tales, all light up. Try different combos of cruise buttons,no cruise, but horn honks every time ON and COAST are mashed(forum search reveals this is common). So I search our forum here and find I can press OFF and cycle key on to test cruise. The cruise telltale never lights to acknowledge test. All brake lights, including 3rd functional proper. Could the flash have failed since truck didn't acknowledge test?
