I want the Edge mainly for the monitor. Have Torque pro but not satisfied. A lot of PIDs just don't seem to work for me. Are the tunes on the Evolution worth it? The reviews seem to be less than stellar.
I don't want a dramatic tune, but a little extra pep and or fuel mileage would be nice.
Longer distances between regen cycles would be a definite plus, averaging around 350 miles now.
Any opinions, especially from users with personal experience., would be greatly appreciated. Truck is 2015, bone stock and plan on probably keeping it that way. No emissions delete. Would consider cold air intake if it works, but have never heard anything very good about them. Consensus is "waste of money".
Objective data would be more valuable than "seat of the pants" opinions, but would appreciate any thoughts.
NOTE: I am not a "scanic", not even of the Shade Tree type. My shade tree died and had to be removed. I am ambidextrous though (can't use EITHER hand).
I can plug a connector in the OBD port.
I would just get the insight or look in to some of the other options for tuning with another device that will either allow you to put the tune on then use the insight for gauges or an all in one setup like the sct livewire and there are some other options for the 6.7 that allow for custom tuning and gauges in one as well. I don't think you'll get any recommendations for running the canned edge tunes.
