Gary, found you another panel- needs wood!

Poor old truck. Gary could fix this up with some lumber and add it to the woody fleet!

One of my breakfast buddies has a favorite phrase that captures this. He says "all ya gotta do is.....". All ya gotta do is drain your 401k, and invest the next five years of your life, turning that p.o.s. into a woodie. But then again, it does have lots of potential. Stu

I know that truck. If it wasn't 300 miles away, I'd rescue it for the rear fenders and running boards

If your still in the black hills this one is more like 750 miles away, this one has a twin maybe?

This one is in Rupert Idaho.

There was one similar around here too.....I think it was late 30's though.
Musta been a farmer "fix"..

No kidding? There is a yellow carved up tonner panel in a yard in ND that looks about the same

Wow, a lot of good parts. Too bad it's a half ton. But I could use some parts if I ever get to my 1/2 ton panel. Today I got Stu's trans bolted up to my engine and got engine disconnected from my run stand. Hoping I'd get it all into the frame rails, then my son showed up needing help on some store fixtures and when that was done my stepson showed up needing a truckload of boards planed and straight-lined for the ceiling of the cabin he's building and then...... Oh never mind. They are both great young men and I have a good time working on their projects with them. But.....l

Looking at this again and thinking, how cool it would be to graft on a truck cab back section and finish up the 'bed'. I've seen this done to something before, don't remember what it was, but it wasn't a jailbar.
