I have a difficult problem that I need some help with. My navi is making a clicking/popping noise the the front end when I make sharp turns. Once it makes the noise the front left brake seems to lock up. It chewed up the outside of the driver rotor and just the outside pad on the drivers side. I noticed the tires were out of alignment and the inner out tie rods needed replacing on the drivers side. While chagin the tie rods I grabbed the rod that the inner tie rod connects to on the rack and shook it and it had around 1/8 of movement(not sure if normal). I also put a gauge to the outer tie rod to see if my steering knuckle was bent and from that test the steering knucle does not apear to be bent. I took it to an alignment shop and they aligned the car and said that the transfer case was causing the issue. I then unplugged the 4x4 motor fuse #115 and there was no change in the binding. After the new tie rod and the alignment it seems to be a little better and seems to have moved to the passenger side. So now the passenger side is braking and binding. Any help on how to diganose would be great!
I believe you said it "seems to have moved to the passenger side", not that it had. I can only respond to the facts you give since I'm not there. The driver's rotor being chewed up to me indicates an issue with the hub, the snapping is the CV joint. So you could be looking at two problem here.

Thanks, it did move to the other side. How do I go about checking the hub? How do I figure out which cv joint in snapping?
I would start by replacing the driver's hub and see if it clears up the snapping CV joint. The snapping could be due to the hub not rolling smooth.
ok thanks. After the alignment, the cv axels seem to be much worse, now they clunk everytime you drive it really loudly. Both axels are making the clunk noise. the clunk will go away if you take a slight right or slight left, if you take a hard left or hard right then it will clunk worse, if you drive in 4x4 its worse.

Ok update! I jacked car up. What I believe is called the center shaft is loose from the differential. The differential also is loose and has about 1.5 inches of play. It's the shaft that connects to the passenger side CV Axel. My questions is this can I just push the shaft back into the differential and tighten the differential? Or does this mean the differential is shot? Could a loose differential cause all of the popping and v braking issues? Any help is greatly appreciated!

It's the Axel shaft that side. I can pull on that and it moves in and out. I'm thinking the retaining clip may have given out? I think I might have to take the faceplate of the differential to confirm any damage. All this being said do you think I should get a new differential altogether or is this something that I could put a new retaining clip in and tighten the current differential up and should be good to go?

Pull the cover and inspect what's damaged. If it's just a broken retaining clip then replace it. You said the whole differential has movement, I suspect this movement stretched the axle and place a strain on the retaining clip until it broke.
