Valve cover breather?

Valve cover breather?
Hi all,
I'm having a tough time finding a breather cap that fits my Powered By Ford valve cover. The Mr. Gasket one that O'Reilly sells is not the best fit, and yesterday it fell out and I lost it (sucks when they're $15 a pop).
It looked like this one:

It's the only option they sell so I'm not sure what else to get.
What do you guys use? On my other valve cover, it had a hole that allowed for a press in, but this one twists-locks.
Ideas? I don't have the original oil cap so I can't match it.

I did that. It definitely kept it from wobbling like it did before, but the tangs just aren't long enough to really hold. I'm assuming the hole diameter is different than what it's intended for.

I like that idea, I was wondering if something like that existed.
Otherwise, I did track this down at O'Reilly:
MasterPro Select Caps 8071 - Oil Cap | O'Reilly Auto Parts
It's a cheap thing ($3.99) and I think the hole right on the top with packing in it is kind of ugly, but it'll do for now. However, it fit excellent and showed what type of tang style the PBF valve cover needs.

That looks like the one I have only mine is solid on top like the second one that you had. I got it at Car Quest a couple of years ago. The first few times I took it off I had to really work at it, it was that tight.

I found a kit of adapter grommets at a parts house and then the cap I got attaches like the PCV...it just shoves down in the grommet and is more than tight enough to keep it from falling out.

I was hunting for a breather that would plug into the valve cover grommet (similar to a pvc valve).

I did that quite a while ago. I have a good memory...but it is short so I can't really say about the cap other than I bought it where I bought the grommet/adapters. I suggest checking with several parts houses for the breather you want...maybe even take the grommet with you to check for a fit.
