Original rim size on my 65 F100
My 65 F100 is a 4x4 with the wide front fenders. I understand that was an option with larger wheels. I have a set of 16" steel wheels that came with the truck and was told they were original. Was it possible to get the wider fenders with a set of 16" wheels? Or would my truck have to have come with the larger rims?

Can you post a picture of what you have? There was only one 5 lug 16 x 5 on 5.50 bolt pattern wheel for 1965 and it has internal hub cap fasteners i.e. "innies", so that should be an apparent feature to include or exclude them from possibly being original.
Front Fender - 65 F100/F250 4x4 - C2TZ-16005-D - Used with all wheel sizes. This is the larger 45" wheel opening.
