I was browsing thru the tech link compilation looking for info on doing a 3G swap and found that you had posted the regulator and harness from PAPerformance P/N 1G-3G Conversion (462802C) that allows you to keep your original ammeter and wiring. I was just wondering if you had ever used it and if so, how it turned out. Seems like for $35 it may be a no brainer if it works well. At that price a guy could buy 2 and throw the extra regulator in the glove box so you didn't end up stranded in BFE due to not being able to find a replacement oddball regulator. As I'm sure you know, I am doing a 4BT repower and trying to keep hacking anything on my truck to a minimum seems like this may be one more way to do just that .............TIA

Reason: More info
I'm betting it is just a "dummy" regulator that doesn't even have a regulator in it.....just makes the necessary connections for the 3G inside the sealed box........but that is only a guess.....I'm sure its a sealed unit that they don't want you to see what is in it....but I may open it up and have a look see at some point........
LOL
