Will 325/55/22 work??

I recently purchased used 22x12in rims with 325/55/22 and he left the tires on the rims because they was just collecting dust. The rims did not have any damage and was holding air. My question..on a stock suspension, can I use those tires since they're a D rated tire and so big? I would love to get away without buying new tires. I'm working on the road and wished that I could just put them on to see they would work. Also, after doing the front end conversion, I gained maybe 3 inches between the front bumper. Thank you and I'll look forward to your answers.

That is equivalent to a 36 x 13 tire.
Me thinks you will need some lift and or trimming to fit those

A 325/55/22 tire has a load index of 117

At 50 psi it is rated for 2835 pounds per tire.

Assuming your Excursion doesn't weigh more then 11,340 lbs then a load range D is fine. ( mine came from the factory with D's )

As soon as I get home at the end of this month, I will. If I drop down to a 50 series or maybe lower, do you think it would work?

At one point I ran a 305/45/22 but they were somewhat rubber-band-ish. It will rub with 50 series, but I am more of a person to put them on and then make the adjustments necessary. No point lifting or bending/reshaping things more than necessary.

Where does it rub? And you're recommending not to go with a 45 series.

I would only recommend 45 series if you will NEVER go off-road. They are pretty thin and will be a bit sporty of a ride. The 50's are a bit more cushy and much better for off-road.
