Fuel tank fill up.... and then

I hadn't filled the X in a while... probably sat for 3 weeks with less than a 1/4 tank of diesel. Filled 'er up and the fuel gauge took a day to reach the "full line" ... kinda odd. First time it's done that.

What say you?

maybe some gunk on the sender unit? I've never heard of that before.. Add some Diesel Kleen, or Stanadyne, or anything else to cut the grim.

My 01 is notoriously slow to bring up correct gauge level and my Exc has a questionable sending unit(?) so on fill ups I add a bit of 2-cycle oil along with some DK
