Farm Truck, life long Texas truck, got it from the 2nd owner who has had it since 1975. $900 and it runs. Factory air, ps, pb, 302, C4, Explorer package. Really straight grille and front bumper for a farm truck. I couldn't let it slide for that price.
How come the door isn't faded out like the rest of it? I'd say it was replaced but it looks like the back of the cab is the same color.
The PO was going to paint it so he started sanding and primering different panels and he got tired of it and quit. The door is the original color of the truck. The left side has a little more brown and less primer:
Sweet find Jas! I sure do miss living out in the farmland just for that one reason and of course the open air and country feeling. And it runs too? Awesome.

Gotcha. If it was mine, I'd finish sanding it and spray the whole thing grey primer and clear coat. Primer grey with black wheels would look pretty cool IMO.
Oh dude those black wheels have got to go first thing. They are *Dodge* wheels. Not on my Ford! I've got Ford wheels in my shop, I will have those damn off-brand wheels off before the weekend is thru. :-)
I will leave it like it is for a while, the "patina" is kind of cool. Eventually I plan to take it back to the original brown.
Now that's more like it! Ford wheels make this thing look great. I was surprised that a stock F100 could swallow up 32" tires on 8" wheels, but no rubbing at all and they give it a great stance:
Great find! And it runs too-wow- and it's a real bonus to have the factory options. Glad you got those Fiat rims off.(my son-in-law has a dodge trk-I know- I live in shame- I give him grief all the time. He didn't know that Fiat owns them. But I make sure to remind him often.LOL)
wow great find....like almost everything about it (except the auto).. reminds me of mine when i got it back in 85.... wouldnt want your money back would ya????.... i could be in texas fairly quick to haul it outta your way....
Envious of you guys down south and out west in your dry climates, up here in the rust belt that truck would go for at least 6 to 8 times that price. Can't buy a bare cab for that. Great find.
