Lower ball joint replacement
How difficult is it to replace the ball joints on a 2003 Ford F-150 4x4? I've watched a video on youtube which looks pretty easy but I don't want to jump into a project I can't finish. While I'm in there, do you recommend changing out the upper control arms or tie rods also? Thanks in advance for any responses.

IF you borrow the "ball joint press" from the Auto Store or have your own, its not too bad... I bought a cheap press at Harbor Freight.. The " spacer sleeve" did not fit the frame exactly right and I had to modify ( grind) it a little to seat correctly... Having an air impact gun is a good idea to push screw the press rod down against the ball joint to pop it out............ don't forget the snap ring on the bottom that holds it in.
