"Extra" Weatherstrip on 79 F150 Doors
I bought a full weatherstrip kit from Precision for my truck and so far, it has been great. But.... I can't figure out where the "extra" door strip goes??? The truck didn't originally have it so I have no idea. Can anyone tell me or even better shoot a quick pic of their truck.

There was a thread about this a few days ago you might do a search for it. If you're talking about the long piece that goes over the door I just went from the speaker wire to just above the door latch.... door works good and no air leakage.

Long flap against vertical part of door with short flat part also glued along the flat? this would apply if looking at the top of the door.
