Dash Pad for 1995 Bronco XLT and Wheel Cover
I'm leaning heavily toward buying a 1995 Bronco XLT Sport in my area. The vehicle can be had for a very attractive price...minus two minor..or should I hope to be minor defects.
(1) The forward facing portion of the dash pad on the passenger side has a nice little dent that has in fact split the cover surface...looks like a knee or an idiots foot was placed on it.
The question is this---- Can this be easily replaced...can a grey piece be found?...and what will this cost me?
(2) The vehicles Spare Tire Cover (Black with OEM Bronco logo) is shot to hell. I have seen what looked to be aftermarket covers on E-bay..with just a simple Ford Oval on them...in either Tan or Black. My desire is for an OEM model with the Bucking Bronco on it.
The question is this---- Can a new OEM cover be found? If so? What will this cost me?
I should know withn 3 days if this vehicle purchase is a go or not?
I like to plan ahead for things.
Thanks for your replies in advance .
The spare cover I havent' got a clear answer on. I have two covers. One is the "FORD" printed horizontally across the lower right quadrant but its not in the greatest shape. The other has "BRONCO" written across the center in the same text style (font) as the 92-96 front fender insignia. I am willing to part with either one or both as my tires are a bit too large for the stock cover to fit. (or they will be when some things get rearranged)
Sadly , I lost out on the bid for this particular 1995 Bronco...but the search will continue....and who knows? Maybe the last bidder will turn out t be a "Dead-Beat" , I have seen a lot of this on E-bay lately.
Regarding the OEM Tire Covers. I'm sure my venture will lead me to a scenario with slightly oversized tires too...so to off-set this , I'm going to try to find a new one...and then have my upholstry guru stitch in an expansion panel with matching material.
This will hopefully give me the upgraded tire size I desire...with the benefits of the OEM look that I really like too.
