Well, I need a sector shaft, but hoping to not spend the high $ on one.
Does anyone have a used one laying around that looks to be in good shape? Believe me that changes are its in better shape than mine.
The original parts number for the sector shaft is TAAA-3575-A, but was replaced by part number B6C3575A. If you have a one laying around, please take a look and let me know if its in good shape. This sector fits a 53-56 F100.
If you have one of those, chances are you have a worm drive laying around as well. While not as expensive as the sector shaft, I'd purchase a used one that was no wear. With the drive shaft, that part number is TAAA-3524-A, I believe. Please correct me if I have the part numbers wrong. This part number fits 53-56 F100 as the 56 drive shaft was a bit shorter.
Let me know! Restoration on a budget is making this product last many years - the steering is nearly the only thing holding me right now!
