I want to replace all the leaf spring bushings/shackle bushings on the suspension. (1964 F100 2wd)
Very confused as to what I need to order.
Number Dummy says (in a past post) that the front of the truck needs: "B7C5781A .. Front Spring FRONT (2) & Front Spring REAR (2) Bushings & Front Spring Shackle Bushings (2) / Obsolete"
So, looks like all 6 bushings on the front half are the same part. Then I see that B7C5781A is also listed for the REAR of the truck. However, I am then told that the rear ones won't fit the front! Then I find that B7C5781A cross refs to Moog SB253 which then says they won't fit my truck. Then I see Napa's shackle bushings are different from their spring bushings.
On top of that, there are these kits and these parts.
I have not yet removed my springs as I want to have new parts ready to go before I start tearing stuff up. Not having actually SEEN all the bushings to know their size/sizes... anybody else replaced theirs who can clue me in on what I need? Are they all the same?
Thanks!
All 6 bushings in the rear of my 1965 were the same as NAPA, NCP 2746459 bushings. I bought the bushings then removed the springs. Bad mistake! Once I got the springs out and apart they were junk. My new springs should be here today. PM me I got a deal on 4 of them.
I just put new springs in our 64 also. Then you only need to replace the top front shackle bushings. I put in new shackles and bolts all the way around.
I got my springs here: General Spring | Leaf Springs, U Bolts, Suspension Parts and More!. Nice people and the best price I found.

Just looked up that part number and it does show it for all 6. Funny, when I looked the part up via my truck info, it showed me 3 different parts for rear front, rear back upper, and rear shackle. Glad to have the actual part number!!!! I knew you guys would come through.
