Cruise Control Not Operational

Cruise Control Not Operational
The cruise control on my truck is suddenly not operating. The recall pigtail at the brake master cylinder was installed some time ago. There is power at that connector. My first thought was that it's fusible link was the issue, but I guess that is not the case. What else should I check?

The air bag light is not flashing and I believe the horn is still working. I'll check that tomorrow. I considered the clockspring, but since the air bag light wasn't flashing, didn't think it was likely the issue.

Run the codes as a matter of course. Anything VSS could be related.

It looks like you may have hit the nail on the head. I tried this and it seemed to have worked. The brake lights work normally though. What exactly needs to be adjusted?

My current servo is from a 2K something Crown Vic, my original is probably still good. My PSOM turned out to be what was killing my CC function. I had no idea they weren't available.

what vehicle? auto trans or manual trans?
since pulling up on the brake pedal makes it work, it sounds like a switch out of alignment, or worn bushings in the pedal assembly.
