Before installing a headliner in my 56 F100, I would like to install a dome light. There is nothing installed now to give me an idea of how to wire it. The light has one black lead and a male pin coming from the bulb socket, the switch for the dome light has two female sockets. The new wire bundle has two male pins, one on a green wire and one on a black wire. One end of the wire bundle has the green wire split with one male pin and a female socket. The door "courtesy light" switches have two female sockets. ANY SUGGESTIONS ON HOW TO PLUG ALL OF THIS TOGETHER WOULD BE MOST WELCOMED. Thanks in advance for any reply you may offer.
FRUSTRATION! I have tried four times to insert a photo image of the parts I have described, but the preview feature does not show the image.

Reason: Attempt to insert image.
I don't remember how I did mine, but, I do remember that my first attempt didn't work out. I had to draw it out on paper to visualize the flow of electricity.
Wow! Thank you gerrymoe! That is exactly what I needed to see. Although I got my parts originally from Carpenter (no instructions included), I have now ordered additional parts from Mid Fifty to complete the job. From these instructions, with the parts that I have, I can install the light and finish the headliner and then snap in the other wires under the dash when the other parts arrive. - This was a great help! FTE 48 - 56 forum . . . . . you are the BEST!

Hi Brit....I'm down the road in Ridgefield (a bit north of Vancouver). If you ever get down this way and have some time for a visit give me a call. Welcome to Washington
