Factory tie downs for f250
When he took the truck apart he forgot all about them and lost them or they walked away.
Does anyone know of these brackets? Are there part numbers for these?
I was going to get some but, I always had my camper on. Plus did not want to try too drill blind some holes and guessing they will line up and the outside brackets.
And the would be into far for my camper turnbuckles would not fit right as my camper extra wide and was not a good angle to keep it from bouncing or rocking on my bed some. Worse then what, I had already setup. Saw a pair last week on a bump and still thought huum wonder if I should bag them. But look at how ez to remove them and stopped when I saw a bed box bolted into place & Passed on doing that real fast since the box had a oily crap in the bottom.

I hated those type they let the camper bounce rock & roll almost every time a 18 wheeler past on a narrow two lane hwy. Then you then into the death grip with cross winds. A front & rear sway bar is a must.
I remove those and chain the camper to the bed & turn buckles with bed bolt on camper hooks.
I even had the weld start pulling apart on the top where it's welded to..

This what I ended up using in front part of the bed then ran a chain to my rear bumper corner drilled a hole for the S hook looped to the chain on the camper. It's a Buttons w/ Clip CAUR New Set Of 2 http://r.ebay.com/2lNJqt
