Never had a slide in truck camper (RV type, not a shell, like a Lance or something), and I was curious if having a spray in bedliner (Line-X) precludes my truck's ability to have a slide in camper? Does it help/hurt? I got a 2008 F-250 CC SWB. I know the short bed is not ideal, but there are still nice units for short beds out there. Thanks for the help.
Not sure what you mean by a slide in camper,But I had a camper, 8',in my truck and have a spray in liner. No problems. Put a piece of plywood down in the box if you are concerned about damage. The liners a very tough though.
The Line-X is an asset. The ideal setup is to Line-X the bed, then put down a 3/4" rubber mat and then the camper. The mats can be found for around $69 and fit the contours of the bed.

Bed liners are not a problem. "Slide in campers" are not slid into the truck. The camper is lifted by jacks high enough to back the truck under the camper. Then the camper is lowered on to the truck bed by the same jacks.
When cab to bed heights were changed in the '90's, many people were putting spacer blocks or a spacer frame work into the bed and setting their older campers on them, to gain cab to camper overhand clearance.
