2004 Cam Phaser repair question
I know there are a million threads already out there about the cam phaser problems from the '04 F-150s but I've seen a lot of guys saying the problem with the phasers is that they aren't receiving enough oil or that the oil pressure is too low at normal operating temp so they wear and begin to make noise. Wouldn't a stronger aftermarket oil pump solve this? Any feedback would be great, as I am exploring other options cause I don't really want to drop $1500 on a truck I just bought.
Thanks!
