need a working 300/I6 head Louisville Ky

2 1/2 days after conquering the latest problem (broken 3spd man. leads to a beautiful T-19),
then #4 cyl. valve burns up (damn luck), compression drops to 35psi

I don't have the $ for machine shop to do it right, but need a running truck because I'm figuring 3 wks left in firewood season.

ANY GOOD NEWS OUT THERE?

I've got A head on a motor in nc

However it had atleast a first cylinder ring issue maybe more, don't know honestly man. It ran and drove fine before, just leaked a lot of oil from the breather lol
