This is a truck that was built for a friend of mine at a local shop.
All i've got to say is this thing is huge! I'm 6'4 and the door handles are above my head by another 2 or 3 inches still... floor pans are in the middle of my chest.
Its powered by a 460 big block. It also has either 1 ton or 1 1/2 ton axles under it from an old ****** millitary transport truck. I'm not sure what else has been done to it but it looks like an awesome machine. Hope you enjoy!
What size Boggers are those? They look smaller than 44s but it may just be perspective with the truck being so tall. He needs to fill that out with some 52" Michelens...it looks kinda funny as is. Pretty clean looking metal and paint though. And I thought mine was top heavy......
Well, i'm sure he plans on finishing the exhaust system on this thing sooner or later...its just for temporary.
This thing sounds like someone stuffed a dragster engine under the hood.... it rattles everything around it, and feels like a small earthquake if you are standing near it.
I think he also needs bigger tires myself. Im not even sure what size they are, but it definetly needs more under it.
Once he takes it to play, i'll post more pics of it... i can't wait to see it covered in mud!
Originally posted by nosjocky that thing is gay! look closer at the spring mounts. it would have ben less work to make a three foot body lift!
Well, I don't know about that. In my book body lifts are "gay". I am a little concerned about those spring mounts, though. I can guarantee that they will fold under hard hits bogging if your buddy plans on really using it. Look at how long they are and how much lack of lateral reinforcement they have. Not slamming the truck, it looks gorgeous, just trying to help out with some practical experience.
