My 78 F250 seems to have a stock suspension but is running 315/75/16s on 16x10 rims. the front leaf pack has 6 leaves and a 1 inch block, so is this stock or an upgraded setup? Thanks
I am not sure if your truck would be a High Boy because I understand they were discontinued half way through 77. It could be part of a a heavy service package or snow plow package. Maybe?
Yes last I knew lift blocks in the front was illegal in Michigan too. They might be angled blocks to aid with driveline angle. If those front springs are original to your truck, it has to be some kind of heavy duty service package. Otherwise it is possible some one who owned the truck before you added the extra leafs to the pack.
79 has 2 leafs, I was told there was really no such thing as a high boy. Also blocks never came on the front of our beloveds. As for seven leafs, they were added, and not from the factory.
