stock wheels?

On my 65 F250 Camper Special, I have 2 different wheel sizes front and rear. The front has 235/85 R16, and the rear has 33x12.50 R16.5. Is this a stock configuration? The wheel covers are 10.5" O.D.

Should be one size AFAIK, pretty sure they would be 16.5's originally.
Ditch the 16.5's and get two more 16's...tire options for 16.5's are
slim pickin's these days and they are a tad pricey! 16" rims are pretty
easy to come buy in 8 Lug.
Best,
Jason

Jason,
Were you able to get the rims that you were looking for? Did the earlier rims fit.
Thanks, Kurt.

"As original." Who knows what's on there today?

1965 F250 (Camper Special or not): 16" x 6" 'innie' wheel (not split rim) for tube or tubeless tires.

1965 F250 (Camper Special or not): 16" x 5.5" split rim 'innie' wheel for tube tires only.

F250 16.5" x 6" 'outie' split rim, non split rims wheels introduced 1967.

No wheel cover is 10.5 inches, unless you own a Crosley! You're describing the original 'innie' hubcap.

FYI: For used wheels, maybe some hubcaps, give Mike a call at Big M Automotive in Williams.

Hey Kurt,

Ya, from the looks of things, I'm set...two members are helping me out Big-Time,
can't wait for the finished product.

Can anyone tell me when split rims were last offered?

16.5" tires are more than a little pricey. I just bought a set of 4 16" for less than what 2 16.5" were going to cost.
