I am looking for better sway control than my current friction controller. Has anyone used the Husky Center Line Towing System? I know its not a propride or hensley but I do not have $2500 - $3000 on a hitch. For $750 I can get a complete setup with the 801-1200 bars. I am towing a Salem 30QBSS that should never be over 10k lbs. I have added the 18.5 mm sway bar that actually helps a lot since I can't find a 30 mm yet.
I have one that I bought used from CL. Paid $300 for it. Came with 1200# bars. Works really well. I tow a 36' TT with it that weighs about 9000# loaded. No sway problems at all. The only thing to get used to is you must be perfectly lined up to set the bars. If you back up at an angle to hitch up, you cannot hook up both bars.
No need to remove when backing up is nice too. You need to spend a little time getting it dialed in properly at first. I was lucky and got it perfect on the first try.(that never happens to me) But, once dialed in, there is no need to adjust. I used to have the round bar set up with chains and slide bar friction sway controls. Every time I hitched up, seemed like I was fine tuning...3 links one trip, 4 links the next, 3 turns on the sway control or 5 turns coming home,...etc. This one goes on the same way every time. No more fiddling with it. Once you get used to making sure you are straight back when hitching up, it's really quick and easy.
