Sinister Regulated Return Kit
Hey fellas,
It has been awhile.
But I have been doing some searching on regulated return kits… I am caught between Sinister's regulated return/ fuel bowl delete with integrated fuel filter and Driven Diesel's regulated return. Now I already know Im going to get Driven Diesel's kit if Sinister's falls through.
I called sinister and got some info on the kit; the filter it comes with is a Wix Micron 6 filter. I went to work and looked up the filter info. The one reason I'm caught on this filter is because I can't determine if the filter the kit comes with will replace the the fuel/water separator on the stock fuel bowl.
Here's the info on the filter; Im caught on the self venting.

Driven Diesel's and strictly diesel are the same..my vote is for Driven Diesel's..i just bought there complete fuelab fuel system..very nice looking and complete kit.. it will look almost stock when its installed...worth the extra few bucks over a DIY kit..its going to work well with there bowl delete block and banjo bolts...let the fuel flow !!!...IMO any thing fuel related should be had through them... Denis does a nice job on all his kits...and he stands behind them 100%...

I still haven't gotten what I'm looking for. I was looking for an opinion on this filter. I know the quality of the kits...

if your talking spin on filters i like the Baldwin 7633 after the pump..its a 2 micron filter that works well.. the Baldwin 1212 water separator works good but the 1252 puts less stress on the pump..and it to does its job well...it is whats recommended for a high volume pump like the fuelab pump...i change mine every spring and fall and never had a problem with them..we run Baldwins on my 9 car car hauler as well...strictly has the spec's for these filters on his website...
