All I can say is be very gentle with it - I cracked mine a few years back. I take a small pry bar with a 90* hook on the end. Work it in around the back of the mirror.There are 2 tabs about 2" from each end in the middle of the mirror ( you are talking about the little convex mirror on the bottom , right).Work the pry bar back & forth from one side to the other & it will eventually pop out. I would also wait until it is warmer out to do this as the cold make the plastic on the back more brittle, or it seems that way. I put a little vaseline on the tabs of the new mirror b4 re-installing same & use gentle even pressure with a towel or rag.
