F150 4X4 4.9L gas mileage
I have a 95 F150 4X4 auto trans w/31.5 tires and my mileage is not what it should be. I also have a stumbling problem when driving along at 50-55 MPH with no load on the engine. It stumbles or bucks but as soon as I put a load back on the engine the stumbling goes away.
I recently replaced the thermostat and the engine now warms up to normal heat range.
Any help would be apprecicated.

My '85 was doing that when the fuse to the feedback carb electrics blew. I found that the wiring harness had melted to the exhaust manifold. I doubt that you have the same problem since the fuse also took out the dash warning lights and the tach, pretty easy diagnosis. Good luck...
