help! O ring seal for oil cooler housing
2000 vw beetle, oil cooler housing o ring failed. Massive oil pressurized leak. Looked up part at auto zone and advanced auto. Victor reinz B32300 and B32299. Is there a difference between the two??? Auto parts man says yes. Websites say no the two are the same fit and dimensions but different quality.
* can I remove the seal and find an after market o ring that's the same size to fit?
* people online say the oil filter for this car has an o ring that fits perfectly. Should I even try that ?
