Buy it, put new motorcraft plugs torque them to correct torque and forget about it. I had 228k on my previous Ex with no issues here. The other issue that the V10 has its known for cracked exhaust manifold bolts. Again not a big deal, other than that it was my most reliable vehicle ever owned.
I have 190K on my and no plug issue. You never know.

No offense intended, but it really isn't like that. You CAN know, all it takes is a little proper maintenance on the plugs (proper torque on a cold engine) and you'll be fine.
