I have built everything I own, and I enjoy the challenge of figuring out the older systems. They're not the cleanest vehicles but they also didn't cost much either. Most of them were in a non running status when I purchased them, both of the fords I intercepted on the way to getting crushed.
Most of the experience I have with ford trucks is my 1985 F250 that I first started working on when my friend bought it in 1999 (we were both 16 at the time). We had no one to show us how to do anything on them so we got a book and went to work, fast forward several years and many online forums later, I own the vehicle and it has a new 351w under the hood.
I am currently working on my 1977 F150 Custom (RWD) the 351M went on me before I left ND, so I had it shipped home and I now am in the process of an engine swap. I have found a good 460 that I plan on putting in there. This vehicle is also the straightest in the fleet with the least ammount of dents and rust, so it's the one that is slated to get painted.

I will start another thread for the progress of the engine swap. Currently I have an empty engine compartment but I did take lots of pictures during that time.
