Hello All
I am currently working on several projects. Besides my projects, I have my own business working on and modifying trucks. I am building a 1976 or so Dodge pickup (no boos please, its a job, not my truck) I go to school full time at Central Florida Community College where I will graduate in may and transfer to University of Florida to persue my masters degree in math. I am also a system administrator for a tax service. I have several offices that I build and maintain their computer systems in the district. Lastly, I work at the college I attend as the Veterans Representative. Hence, money for toys but no time to play with them.
I am older, in fact, I retired from the Army. The advantage of that is that I have several trucks.
Current vehicles include:
1976 IH Scout SSII with a 392 and a 4-71 blower sticking through the hood.
Everything modified and reengineered. Long list of changes being made the next time it comes into the garage for work. See it here: http://www.geocities.com/toyscout2/Scout_page.html
1989 Ford full size Bronco. 4x4 with a 400 big block. Lots of changes to this too. Just removed the nitrous and pro-jection. I am rebuilding it to sell since acquiring another truck.
1982 F-100 4x4. Newly acquired. 300 Six. Four Speed. 33x12.50 tires. Just ordered Offenhauser intake, new holley 390, flowmaster mufflers, etc. I stripped the engine compartment and am now painting and fixing everything in preparation to be a daily driver. This is the cause of having to sell the Bronco. Wifey wants to know why I need three 4x4's.
2000 Expedition Eddie Bauer 4x4. Wifes truck. I am not allowed to change anything on it. I bought a blower set-up for it but was forced to resell it since wife wouldn't allow me to install it.
1971 Maverick. I know, not a truck. I am pro-streeting this. Currently has narrowed 9 inch, mickey thompsons, M-II front end, etc. I am building a 409 small block with a C-6.
Additionally, my dad has a 2002 F-250 Diesel that I have added a lot to. Lowered the back to level the truck, lots of stainless, roll and lock bed cover, air springs, etc.
These are the current major projects. I do have somewhere between 10 and 20 other project trucks in varing states of disarray parked in bunches in the woods. Things I want to get to someday.
Look forward to being on the site.
That being said, the pooch now says the passenger captain chair is HIS!
Gotta find a few more things to make the truck stand out in the pickup crowd. The rear hitch and bumper are history and the stock running boards may have to go next. The upfitter switches will be linked to several new somethings and the TowCommand is GREAT!!!
More later, afetr mo' miles!
