navigator motor swap questions?

navigator motor swap questions?
I have a 2002 navigator with a blown engine. I was going to swap the motor and transmission out of a 2000 navigator. Is it a straight forward swap or do i need the pcm/ecu from the 2000 as well? If i do won't i run into an issue with the chip in the key not matching the new pcm/ecu? Thanks.

ok one mo re thing. the donor vehicle and mine look identical engine wise but there is only one thing throwing me off making me wonder if the swap will work even though they are both intech engines is that the donor vehicle a 2000 the oil filter is located up on the bumper on drivers side and piped to the engine and the oil filter on my 02 is actually located up on the engine in the middle. Anyone know if this will still work?
