3 speed to C6
I would like to have the C6 but I have a 75 parts truck that has a 3 speed ps column I have been planning on installing in my 66.
If I buy the C6, I can also get the driveshafts. Do I need both of them or just the front one?
Will this be a plug-n-play swap? I know I have to move the tranny crossmember, I already have a AT radiator, and the proper carb and linkage.
I can probably sell the 3 speed ps column for what I would pay for the C6 stuff.

1- C6 & linkage only,
2- driveshafts, I am not sure, I went to a 1 piece cut to fit.
3- By 73 most trucks were headed to auto, so your 75 3 spd may have value. You will need to grab a column from another 73-79 if the ps will be added at the same time.
It is not plug & play but not overly complicated.
I recommend swapping all at the same time. I also like to put a rebuilt tranny and engine in for piece of mind.
Guluk.

The truck with the c6 is intact, so I can get and need to get everything I need all at once. As soon as it starts to get parted there is little chance I can go back later and get something I forgot and still find it on the truck.
Im not 100% onboard with doing the swap. I like the column shift 3 speed, no one ever asks to borrow my truck and having ps and pb is an oddity in an old truck like this. It makes for good conversation at car shows.
