Figured I better start another thread insted of in my 3.31 question thread.
Does the traction controll turn off and stay off when you push the button? I read an owners manual and the way it is written makes me wonder.
It makes it sound like the traction controll reengages when you put the truck in reverse. Even when you had it turned off.
What are the facts?
What is the real difference between an F350 SRW at 11,200 or 11,500 GVW and one with the 10,000 GVW. Is it just paperwork or do they change springs?
If you push the button quick, it does turn off TC until you shutdown/start the truck again.
If you hold the button down for 10 seconds, it turns off advance trac.
I can't remember if Advance Trac turns back on, such as at a specific speed.
kper is correct on TC operation. The 10,000 lbs GVW option is a shell game with numbers for some areas that exceeding 10,000 causes extra regs/requirements/costs-but the truck is the same.
