Exhaust Install Complete
$125 at a local shop. The exhaust is an LMC setup that came with my 75 parts truck. The PO never installed it.
I didnt care for glass paks so I added a set of Summit turbos and ss tips.
The shop did a nice job, all welded, and even side to side.
No way that LMC exhaust was going on in the driveway. The right side was ok but the left side had to be bent over the crossmember. Im guessing that there is more than one crossmember for 65-79 F100s.
I had them put the glass paks and turbos both on. I got the idea looking at a Towncar in the P-N-P, it had cats, muffs, and resonators. My truck is now whisper quiet and seems to have a lot more power and pulls much harder.
As soon as it quits raining Im going to mess with the carb and timing. Im sure it is running a little lean and I can probably advance the timing some.
All in all Im very pleased with the results. Going from a single legger and an oil bath to an open element and duals has made the truck seem like a different vehicle all together.
