I found a front clip from a 2007 F250 and decided the original Super Duty frontend (99-04) has become a bit of a tired look...
Since I had the header panel, I simply needed to buy a pair of headlight adapter pigtails from Riff Raff and voila!!
I don't have a ton of pics of it yet, been too busy working. I think the casual observer wouldn't even notice but I think it gives her a fresh new look!!! And, YES, I have washed it since this photo was taken - TWICE!!
looks good.I had a 01 Super cab short bed.Miss that truck alot 5.4 with a 5 speed.16mpg on the free way it had 4:10 or 4:11 gears.Focus gets 33 mpg a little better when you drive over 70 miles a day.
I don't think I have ever seen 16 mpg in this thing!! 14 highway was best I remember, but I never really baby it either. Usually 11-12 all-around MPGs. I looked closer at the grille and it looks like someone tried using steel wool to clean it - butthead. So it is not a priority but I will be looking for a new grille at some point...

While I love the 2005-2007 front end upgrade, I have always wanted a brushguard and I recently found one on craigslist for a great price so I grabbed it.
Before the nasty weather rolled in tonight my son helped me get it mounted!!
Does anyone know if the tow hooks are different between the 2002's and the 2005's? I only ask because the vertical bars on this sit right up against the tow hooks.
I think when I get the chance I will loosen the bolts where the brackets attach to the bumper and see if I can't shim them out even a little...
I had to really shove them in there between the bracket and the tow hook. This brushguard is for the 2005-2007 and that's the front end I have but the truck and hooks are 2002.
