OEM Shock Wear Rates for non-FX4 Trucks
Does anyone have any ideas about the wear rate of the standard black shocks on the non-FX4 trucks? I'm at 18k miles, with probably 500 miles of forest road on it so far and it is starting to feel a little harsh over bumps.

I Googled the Motorcraft part number on my "special rancho" FX-4 rear shocks and the search returned references to the standard Ford black shocks.
