I'm ready to attempt my own rebuild on my Dana 24 T-case. Can anyone point me in the direction for a rebuild kit for this hog? Any info would be appreciated. Thanks.
I bought a rebuild kit for my Dana 24. One of the original bearings had 8 *****. The replacement one had 6. I used my originals. I can get you the seal part numbers if you want.
Hi guys - the case of totally disassembled on my '67, F250. The two shafts have a little wear bead in them, so looking for the replacements - also this pin in the picture. The the input yoke is a little warped, so wanting one of those as well. We have everything else that came in the Cobra rebuild kit on seals and bearings.
Weld and spin grind will fix the grove around the shaft and the hole. After that the hole will need drilled out for the pin and the slot milled for the yoke. I'm thinking the groove is from the oil seal holding water and rusting because it doesn't spin or carry a load. Several companies sell new shift rails for the 205 so maybe they could help you. JB Custom FAB, Jeff's Bronco Graveyard ect.
