I recently did the V & modded B code leaf springs to my 01 ex and all I can say is WOW! I knew the truck handled bad but the improvement was more than I Imagined. I got all of the parts from various junk yards. Everything worked except for the $20 rear sway bar I got from a 99 F350 with a service body. This sway bar was not even wide enough to reach both frame rails on my ex. Then I discovered that is was only about 3/4 inch diameter. Most of the research that I have read says to use the 30mm sway bar from a F350. So my question is which F350's use the 30mm rear sway bar? The choices are: 2wd srw, 4wd srw, 2wd dually & 4wd dually. Apearantly the service bod truck used a narrower frame.
Thanks in advance.
I think mine was from an F350 SRW. I've hear that F250's with the camper package also had the 30mm.
If you can fine one at the salvage yard or already have the endlinks I'd say skip the Hellwig. As long as you some something better than stock you're good.
Well if you have all the parts already then you can pick up a new 30mm sway bar from Tousley for about $100 bucks.

The only issue you may run into is the end links may be too long. This guy talks about it and ends up cutting the end links he got from an F350 and re welding them so that his bar is level.
