We stopped by yesterday, there were LOTS of trucks to drool over!
There were a lot of great looking slicks. We got there kind of late in the afternoon, and it was pretty hot... My wife is Pregnant, so we didn't spend as much time there as I'd have liked, but I got some good photos-
I also scored a nice pair of '66 doors, with all the hardware (windows, cranks, regulators, arm rests- EVERYTHING) intact, along with a spare tire carrier, for just $45... End of the show special.
Was there on Saturday!, I see they have turned it in to a F100 plus ford cars and even
later model f150's, so I don't know how they can call it the F100 Grand Nationals?
also it would be nice if they had more seeting/any seeting for folks to set down and get out of the HEAT for a few minutes?, not that I'm complaining but I truly am!!...I will not go back till something is done about this prob!,,,PS, still nice to see what people aren't driving to the show?...feel free to rag on me!

They do that to keep the Yankees up north, but thanks for the heads-up ... I'll bring a chair next year!

Were many of the vehicles trailered in? I'm afraid it I make my truck too nice, I'll be afraid to use it ... a L-O-N-G way to go before I reach that point!
I agree- there could have been a bit more in the way of 'creature comforts' for visitors. It got HOT out there on the blacktop, and there were not really any good places to get away from it. It didn't bother me, but my wife wasn't able to stay all that long. Of course, I DID drag her to an antique boat show earlier that morning, too.
I'd say that a fair number had been trailered there, but a lot had been driven. There were trucks from all over, really.
As for the Ford cars, there were some, but not many. Also not a lot of 'late model' trucks, only a handful here and there. I didn't feel like it detracted from the quality of the show at all!
The photos I have don't do the show justice at all- I was not there long enough!

Once Pat left the building it needed to have other entries besides F100s to survive.
I hear the F100 show in Gattlingburg is the new up and coming show. This is where Pat started.
I agree with alot of your comments guys; I've been going there for several years. I feel once the city finishes the big convention center; things will be displayed indoors as well. I miss having an all F series show with a host vehicle; like fairlane's, comets etc. But once the center is up and running price to enter will increase as well I suspect.
I did sell alot of parts the four day's I was set up! Hope they help folks built drivers and not (T) queens.
