bedside tool box
My 69 has the toolbox built in to the bedside in front of the rear wheel well on the passenger side. The key is broken, is there a number some where on there to use for a new key, or do I need to take the lock off and get a new one, or take it to a locksmith to have a key made for the lock on it? Any of you guys have this problem before??

If you have both pieces of the key go to a good hardware store or lock smith. They can just cut you a new one. I replaced the locks on my 73 toolboxes with locks from Ace. Just take one with you to get the right length.
