prostarter or factory dealer starter

Ok I have a 08 F150 FX4 and i got a pro start remote starter from my sweetheart for xmas, and was wondering if it can be hooked up and used without having to buy there remote door openers and such or would a factory/dealer one be better?

Thx

Ken

think the factory install would be best for this type of install less problems in hook up and service

I went aftermarket, I believe carstar and had zero problems. Also much cheaper than the dealer.

What do you mean by remote door opener? if you mean the box to make starter remote operate the door locks, then you will need that no mater what starter you get. it is needed every time for every vehicle, if your want just one remote to do both the starting and unlocking
